Executive-tier preventive packages at major Colombian hospitals typically bundle: physician consultation and history, full blood panel (metabolic, lipid, thyroid, CBC, glucose/HbA1c, PSA or hormonal panels as indicated), urinalysis, ECG, chest imaging, abdominal ultrasound, vision and hearing screening, and a results-review consultation. Comprehensive tiers add stress testing or cardiac imaging, additional cancer screening (colonoscopy, mammography, dermatologic review), and specialist referrals.
Typical 2026 ranges, not quotes: basic screening $150–$400 · executive $500–$1,200 · comprehensive with cardiac and cancer screening $1,200–$2,800. Colonoscopy as an add-on typically $300–$700 versus $2,000–$3,800 typical US cash pricing.
Spring climate year-round, compact hotel-dense medical zones, strong expat/English infrastructure, and the city where our team lives. Best for: first-time visitors, checkup-plus-recovery trips, anyone pairing the visit with the coffee region.
The deepest bench of flagship hospitals — including JCI-accredited Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá — plus the most nonstop US routes. Best for: complex or cardiac-focused screening and travelers who want maximum flight options. Note the 2,600m altitude if you have cardiopulmonary concerns — mention it when booking.
Cali's Fundación Valle del Lili (also JCI-accredited) rounds out the top tier and is worth the extra hop for certain specialty screening.
Evening flight from the US (3.5–6 hrs). Check in, light dinner, begin your fast after 10pm. No jet lag to fight — you're in your own time zone.
Fasting labs at 7am, imaging and consults through midday, lunch, and in most cases a same-afternoon physician review of early results. Evening free — you're a tourist now.
Morning results-review consultation with written report (request English copies when booking — we help with this), then an afternoon flight home. Total time off work: often just one day.
Every licensed Colombian physician appears in ReTHUS, the government's public human-talent registry. JCI accreditation can be confirmed on JCI's own directory — and applies at the hospital level, which is exactly where a checkup happens. A provider who hesitates when you ask for credentials is your answer.
